He's right the X1 version is much darker, not only in this game too, it's how the graphic card has been set up it seems.

its the built in upscaler in the XB1. basically any sub 1080p game will have this (huge) issue unless the devs build their own upscaler like what Cryteck did with Ryse. 

Or if MS fixes it with FW...  Doesn't seem to be their top priority though.


But you're right, Ryse was phenominal and they rolled their own.  Did they still use the built in HW upscaler, just different contraints/etc?  I'm guessing so.  At the end of the day all these HW units are just specialized math units.
