it does look unnatural, but a lot of people seem to like this as it's not uncommon that TVs at retailers use similar settings
I hope this is not a X1 settings problem, because while it's easy to emulate this kind of thing with your own TV settings (if you like it), you generally can't get a more natural look, if the source material is like this
