I see the point, and yes, X1 is in a much more dire situation than its launch and/or Third party supports indicates.
It is the console with weaker and fewer first party, but it will heavily depend on them.

That doesn't mean that having third party support is not going to help though.


There are two points we still have to wait and see:
1- Will the "PS4 is always better" reach the mainstream/casuals?
I'm talking here about those who don't watch IGN comparison videos and don't read Digital Foundry. Are they going to listen about FPS/Resolution? If they do, are they going to care (or understand it)?

2- How much will be the difference when Destiny comes? Watch Dogs was reasonably agnostic, but Destiny has a ton of PS4 advantages. That will say a lot about X1 third party effect.
