Sony will do that once they reach a new milestone number. So I'd say expect a 10 million units sold-to-consumer figure announcement from Sony in the near future.
Edit: @GribbleGrunger, I personally think if Aquamarine (aka GAF's "Resident Waifu") hadn't brought up the "Why are you advertising a banned site? What's your agenda?" comment, you wouldn't be immediately banned like this, considering your subsequent posts there.
