The Wii U won't be emulated, it's too powerfull a Power PC machine to decently emulate, look at the Xbox 360 and PS3, emulatipn there is near nonexistant

Cartridge based consoles are easier to emulate than disc based consoles. You need quite a lot of power to emulate a different architecture

You clearly have no idea how emulation works do you?

It's not about the architecture (altough Power PC is ooollldd, reaally ooolllddd), it's about how complex the hardware and software work, and the less powerful the console, the easier it is to replicate and emulate.

In fact, Dolphin emulate Gamecube and Wii (which are disc based) so well and have for a few years, that they've already been advancing on emulation. We're talking about a minimum of 1,5 year and a max of 3 years to get PCs to emulate Wii U. Xbox 360 and PS3 are further off but not that much considering.

What? The Wii U is more powerfull than the X360 and has the same architecture, it'll take longer to emulate. And Dolphin can emulate the Gamecube and Wii quite well, but it's still far from perfect and the Wii wasn't exactly a super powerfull console.
