Seen as they just released an SKU, MS are actually least likely to change prices in the short term of the big three. Say they cut $100. To what? The core? Then they'd have to cut the premium too. But then they'd have to cut the brand new elite, pissing people off. Say they cut elite. Now it's too close to premium. Say they cut premium, now it's too close to core and elite's too expensive. None of these screnarios will get away without significant backlash, at least not in the short term.

"likely much quicker considering future price cuts will put it in the mass market price range coupled with it's growing library of fantastic console exclusives."

Isn't $200 mass market? Didn't MS just say that? Isn't that completely out of the question? Are these the same exclusives that failed to win over the last generation? Or the same exclusives that are failing to reach beyond the hardcore now?

"The 360 is actually picking up steam in European market and making inroads :)"

Is it?

Also, check Xbox 360 Vs Xbox1 sales in the charts, launches aligned.

Europe data for Xbox 1 appears to be missing, but America is almost neck and neck and Japan is actually tracking under.

This says to me they've made precisely zero inroads in the two regions we do know about.

Yes 360's been expensive. It's also been free from competition. Yes 360 probably costs less money to make now. They've still not been able to get out of the red, or pass savings on to the consumer.
