Not hard at all. Devil May Cry easily had the bigger impact when games like Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania Lament of Innocence, and God of War among many others to this day use the advancements that this game made towards the action/adventure genre. Not only was the gameplay copied and tweaked for future titles, Devil Trigger is in a lot of these titles. Devil Trigger is named Rage of the Gods in God of War for example. God of War just happens to be more popular to the masses. Less impact to gaming when it actually comes to what it offers. |
I can slightly agree with that. Devil May Cry did allot for the action game genre. I remember the awesome feeling of Ebony & Ivory launching an enemy into the sky, only to have him cut down by Alister on his way down................ Good times .......... Yes.
