Consoles would benefit at running games 720p instead of 1080p.

I'll keep expecting 1080p throughout this gen. Can always get a capable pc later if multi platform titles start limping at 720p. For now all is still fine.

1080p is a big difference. Playing Burnout paradise at 1080p was a lot easier, I can see what's coming in the distance, same with Driver SF. Just cause 2 also benefits hugely from 1080p on pc. On PC resolution is the last thing to bump down. I'll play on my old 1280x1024 monitor if it's really struggling to keep 30fps, at least it's still a pixel for pixel match.

I'm loving the native display resolution coming out of the ps4 so far. I did skip watch dogs, resolution was a small factor in that decision. Upscaling is last gen.
