All systems struggle if no good games are available. The Wii-U is the only system that is already past this stage because PS4 and X1 do currently offer not a single AAA game at all, only mediocre games like Titanfall, Infamous or Sunset overdrive.
PS4 currently heavily lacks Japanese games and JRPGs, so there is no reason to buy one for many PS3 owners. X1 will end up at 3rd place outside of UK and US and does not really matter to the worldwide market at all.
But the biggest problem of the new consoles is that any gaming PC will allow much higher resolution, FPS, texture quality and shader effects because the AMD APU is extremely weak and completely outdated compared to any Intel CPU combined with a modern GPU.
