Ah, so this explains the random "are you a virgin" thread bump.

Not much that can be said, however, especially from a guy who hasn't been on a date in almost four years. The prime thing at any stage of your life is to have your priorities in order, and in your case, you would want to pursue education and/or employment opportunities that could take you to Japan.

Have a Bachelor's degree? You can try getting an ESL-teaching job. Just be careful, there are about 3 respectable outfits in Japan and a whole galaxy of shitty ones. Korea is easier to get into and usually more on the up-and-up. China is yet easier, though, of course, its China.

You see I'd love to learn the language but I feel that I'm past that critical period of learning a new language really. If I did it would open up many job opportunities. It's far-fetched and obscure but helping establish motorsport more in Japan and developing a bigger pool of talent there would be interesting. The country has a prominant history of developing the equipment but now it's time to scout for more drivers.

I wouldn't say that, you can always learn a new language. It will be difficult but you seem pretty motivated, I'm not sure if I have tried before but there are tons of learning methods out there. I just found this website called Duolingo which is awesome for learning another lagnuage however it does not have Japanese... But the website is young so I expect them to add Japanese in due time. I live in Japan but I have not tried hard to learn it - just a bunch of miscellaneous words. I started trying to learn it before I got here but I've been pre-occupied with other things.
