That's "hardly a difference"? It's like night and day.
Am I going to need to start a "1080p club" or something?

That's not night and day.  It's hardly a difference.  Is it noticeable?  Yeah.  But it's also not the difference between 480p and 720p, not 1080p which would be noticeable but even less so.

Graphical enhances would be far more noticeable than the slight blur due to resolution changes.  Here's an example I made at the end, this time with images.  Graphics on the second picture are much better(the graphics look so real :P.)  The point is, all the power wasted on increasing the games res could be pushed towards higher quality graphics and would make a far greater difference than some ever so slight blur

It'd actually put PS4 and Xbox One games in the same league graphically as the same PC games, where PC owners would get the edge on being able to play these games with slightly better clarity because of the resolution bump.  As it is now, we'll be having PS4 and Xbox One games with 1080p resolution, but graphics that aren't on par with those on the PC because of all the effects that the PCs have on top of the resolution increase.
