It was only because of MK8 and the "price drop" of deemed to not be has efficace has a true price drop, because even if it's proposing a cheaper entry point it's not proposing a better value for your money (at least not for everyone). 

plus Microsoft will probably be proposing holiday deals like including an extra game (over those already included in the futur bundle) coupled with 50$ cut.

Even Nintendo can make a price drop in holiday, and will have again Mario Kart, because is one game that sell after mounth and year, and not only, will have Smash Bros, and Mario Bros U.

XBOX ONE will have Desiny and Master Chief collection, but the holiday is the best for Nintendo... so, for me Wii U will sell more of XBOX ONE.
