japan has a equivalent its weekly by media create and famustu during the year we get some reports for the big European countrys Uk italy germany ect we also get shipments from the big 3 4 times a year vgc does adjust all its numbers WW but in a timely manner

Awesome, thank you! ^_^ Only reason I ask is there's been some reports cropping up that total hardware count for the Xbox One was over five mil at this point, and the PS4 at 9 million. Supposedly an interview in Edge magazine, but I haven't been able to track down the source itself, so I can't even say whether it was 'shipped to retailers or sold through' numbers, ala quarterly finances report. Was initially wondering maybe there was some severe undertracking in non-NPD regions, but if there's adjustments done, then it's looking just as likely that the articles were either PR talkin, or even outright mistaken.
