You can claim the deals change all you want, I will keep referencing actual evidence we have that it won't matter. It didn't matter last gen, yet it will matter this gen? Weird. Also, the PS4 version of Destiny will sell more BECAUSE of the exclusive deals, same as Watch Dogs. You seem to think the deals are reached because of a sales difference. The deals are reached and they can create a sales difference. Otherwise there'd be no reason for MicroSony to have to pay publishers for these deals.

Amiibo will be good for Nintendo. I have long wondered when they would finally cash in on this lucrative toy add on element to games that Skylanders utilized. But Nintendo already has the children. Their problem is the younger crowd they had with the Wii is older now and don't want a diet of just Nintendo games. That's where Nintendo will always fail to MicroSony until they change their 3rd party situation. It's why the Xbone has outpaced the WiiU by over 1.5 million since launch and why it will continue to outpace it and pass it.

Comparing these two consoles, people put too much emphasis on 1st party games. It isn't a situation like the PS4 vs Xbone where library wise the first party stuff is virtually the only difference. Yeah Nintendo has some awesome games coming. As a WiiU owner I am looking forward to Captain Toad. Yoshi looks awesome. Even the Mario level editor game is right up my wheelhouse. The thing that prevents me from playing my WiiU more though is after you have tackled those great Nintendo games, there's jack shit to play on them, unless you enjoy Lego games or Disney licensed trash, with very few exceptions. And in the rare case it gets one of the big 3rd party games, why would I play it on the WiiU when it's vastly superior on my Xbone? And not a tiny gap like PS4 and Xbone, but a large gap where the WiiU version is closer to the PS360 games than next gen? That's the issue facing the WiiU.

Your Halo downplaying is still illogical. So it won't sell 8 million+ like on 360? Cool. So what WiiU game will? Oh, ok. None will, but Nintendo will sort of "gang tackle" Halo with multiple games. Good thing MS has multiple good looking games coming this year too. If you can add up the totals of individual WiiU games you can certainly add up Xbone games as well. And in the Xbones case there is also a slew of AAA 3rd party games coming that the WiiU has no answer for. It really won't even be a fair fight.

The difference was already going to be there with or without the deals. Let me buy this inferior copy of the game for a less powerful system that until recently cost $100 more, said no one ever.

There's roughly 72 million children in the world that want smart toys like the amiibo. There are only 6.6mil Wii U's currently in homes. There's a lot of room to grow in that demographic, and they have almost no competition whatsoever. That's not even considering the adults and collectors already interested. The ENTIRE Smash community too, which is kinda old these days.

Yeah XB1 has a slew of third party AAA titles, that no one's really buying. The biggest exclusive so far was released to a collective "Meh" after being heralded as the second coming of XB FPS dominance. Third party sales are dropping badly, to the point the 360 outsold the XB1 this NPD on WDs, the biggest third party release yet this gen. It barely outsold the PS3 as well.

Halo is on the decline and has lost its must have status. It's not as big a deal as it once was, and several new IPs have risen on Sony's side since Halo was king. Halo is on the decline and on a floundering console. The first Halo saved the Xbox from utter failure by setting the standard for online FPS. It continued with a bang on the console because the 360 was wildly popular for the same reasons the XB1 are unpopular. Fans dislike the direction the series last entry took it, the sales are on the decline, and there's no new innovation or console dominance to buoy it.

I also don't see where people get off thinking the holidays will magically put the XB1 ahead when it has arguably the least impressive of all holiday line-ups An HD remaster that gives you access to a beta is their holiday game? Yeah Sony doesn't really have a killer app exclusive listed currently for the holidays, just LBP3, but they don't really need it since they dominate the multiplat sales so badly. Yes, you can count multiplats as a system seller for PS4 and not XB1 because, all things being equal, NOBODY will buy an XB1 for multiplats now.

Nintendo has a small list of decent games, a potential monster in amiibo, an anticipated price drop, and possibly two of the most desired bundles this holiday season with Smash and a re-packaged Mario Kart Bundle. Yeah you can say Mario Kart was already released, but depending on the effects of amiibo it could see a resurgence.
