and a bunch of others

Granted they are worse versions but the gameplay is still fundamentally the same. Once stuff like Witcher 3, Batman, Asasssins Creed, COD (next year is Black Ops 3 and there will be no last gen version I've been told) people will start to really flock to the new consoles.

Yeah, this first year really seems like a product of the times.  So, I wonder if this means that future gens will have bigger struggles in that first year, ergo, will the problem get worse as companies attempt to spread their IP out to as many platforms as possible?

I think next generations should be longer then actual generations so developement cost increase slow down,ps3 and xbox360 sold sale wasn't that bad before X1 and Ps4 announce
