Oh dear, if that overtracking is true! That would make one have to ask, again: "just when did the PS3 pass the 360?" That means that it's been ahead and the gap we had between them before was closer to accuracy. |
I would say the global numbers we have now are probably right, it's just that the overtracking in USA is balanced out by undertrack elsewhere. The Ltd we have at present for 360 aligns reasonably with MS shipment reports, and any lower for vgc would mean warehouses full of 360s all around the world.
Bitter sweat for Xb one. A fantastic boost from kinectless, but still daylight between it and PS4. Comes down now to consumer perception of which is the more attractive product, technically and aesthetically. However Xb one can live in this 150-200 zone, so kinectless may have done its job well enough for MS to not have to take more drastic action. The only reason for them to do something rash, like cut price to $299 would be if they want to actually win in the USA.
WiiU more bitter than sweat. A long way behind in 3rd place, so can't really be happy about the MK8 boost. But a boost is a boost and if it keeps WiiU above 100k per month until the holidays then that's sustainable.
Poor vita but at least it's 5 figures.
