This isn't just about Nintendo being successful though, this is about Sony's efforts to completely snuff out the competition. Destiny is going to be a huge multiplat, and we know that it won't be as good on XB1. Sales of this will be telling, because if the XB1 gets trounced as badly as it did with the WD release, it's just going to inspire Sony to get more exclusive content in those releases, and third parties will have no reason not to indulge them.
