It wasn't an official price cut! Jesus! What they did, was they released a bundle without the console's main unique selling point for fifty-freaking-dollars less than what the stock Kinect bundle was selling for WITH Titanfall a couple of months ago. I moronic move, and I knew this was coming. How did anyone think this was a good idea? Not all consumers are stupid. This Kinectless bundle is an even worse deal than the system was at $500, and releasing it for $400 just draws more attention to how woefully lacking it is compared to the PS4. It's insulting.
A smarter move would've been to cut the price to $400 including Kinect. If that was too much, the very least they should've done was give the system an official $50 pricecut, and bundled a first party game/$50 store credit with every single unit. I'd bet you money that would've moved more units than this Kinectless BS.
OT: Where are the XBO numbers? I wanna see just how hard they failed.
