How can someone graduate from highschool without knowing what is GMT and calculate the local time based on it? Now I understand why my company keep 2 wallwatches (local and mothercompany time) people are to dumb to subtract 3h and have the other time. When we mix saving time it becomes a nightmare... When I say mtmy timezone is GMT-3 people always ask the time -..-"

For me at least living in the UK you just call whatever time GMT; even in the summer. So you're wrong half the year.

So wouldn't britains be wrong half the year since the GMT and saving times can't be lumped together? In the south hemisfer won't be on saving time together and GMT can't be two different hours. But I can forgive the British with their odd Standards. Here the oficial time for the country is "horário oficial de Brasília" and on summer is "horário de verão" we don't appropriate the meridian for us.

Pretty much. It's technically British Summer Time (what, GMT +1?) but whenever I see GMT I think "that's our time!" and I'm not along on that.

Hence us Brits are typically terrible at timezones

Yes BST is equivalent of GMT +1. Because you are 1h "later" (ahead) than GMT.
