which begs the question,.. what is a new generation going to bring?
with how reluctant publishers have been to greenlight next gen exclusive (almost everything is cross gen), how many fewer AAA titles there are, how many publishers are not profitable anymore, and how much more room to grow we have moving from early gen to late gen titles,... what's the motivation to move on to even better hardware any time soon?
not that even prettier games wouldn't be desireable by me but what's the point if there is only one title a year?
nope, in the absence of a truely different direction of consoles i just don't see this gen being anything but extrodinarily long.
