To be fair I actually haven't played that many JRPGs despite really liking the genre (mostly because I was too young to know what one was when we had a PS1 and then my Dad bought an Xbox and then a 360), but I can't deny it was Pokemon on GBA, followed up by more of the same on DS, plus Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Dragon Quest Monsters and FFXII: Revenant Wings (if that last one counts).

I ended up taking a break for a long time after that but bought a PS3 at the beginning of this year and played through Ni no Kuni which I loved despite some flaws, hoping to brush up some more of the back catalogue soon (not planning on buying a PS4 for a while, plus I still haven't played Persona 4 or Ys on my Vita yet)
