I'm planing to get a vita.

Even though I am a giant nintendo fan I always wanted to jump into a Sony console but it never felt gnawing at me like it would if I missed a Nintendo console. Although the Vita is a different story the console just seems fun and not cluttered (For some reason I hate the PS4's interface). Also since it isn't region locked I could play a genre I recently got into, Visual Novels, because of this awesome anime called The World God Only Knows. Plus I could play series I would normally never play like Persona and Little Big Planet. I do have some questions though if some could answer them.

1. PSnow is coming to the Vita correct? If so will it be a extremely gimped version?
2. How long is the battery life for the Oled and the Slim version?
3. Which would you recommend Oled or Slim?
You could also try talking me into instead buying a Ps4 or a Xbox One but I'm a man who is set in his ways so it most likely won't work.

I haven't played the Slim version, and I do love the screen on my OLE version, but the Slim has built-in memory.  I consider that to be an important upgrade.  It's also supposed to be a bit lighter, though I'd suggest buying some cheap grip extenders if you want to play at home.  They help a LOT during long play sessions, which you will have if you buy Persona 4 Golden.

I'm not sure how long the battery of the OLE version lasts but the Slim is supposed to be an hour longer.  I'm not going to sell mine but that extra hour sounds really nice.
