As twisted as this may sound, XB1 not doing too well even with a lower priced SKU in the one territory that its close enough to the PS4 to give sony concern isn't good for my grand PS4 price drop predictions.
The way I had it figured, was that this gen we would see prices drop a lot faster and could have $300 consoles on shelves by the fall 2015. I feel this is important cause it means that consoles will hit the mainstream price sweet-spot a lot sooner this gen.
But if this price drop still puts XB1 behind the PS4 in NA, then that just tells sony they have nothing to fear from it. This will be even worse if MS drops the price again sometime next year and the PS4 still outsells it; at that rate we could just kiss PS4 price drops anytime soon good bye.
Its becoming apparent to me that we may not see PS4 price drps till after games like Uncharted 4, GT7, FF15, MGS5 and GOW4 all release.So thats sometime after 2016!!!!!
