As an american who has lived in Canada before(LaPraire Quebec). I can only speak for what I have seen between the two countries. But in Canada it appeared to be much better overall than what we see in the US. You can rip on the clinics all you want until you end up in a busy ER(I sat in an ER for 2 hours when I went in for a concussion once and I have health insurance) in the US and not only see what you pay but actually get worse service. The US has some of the best doctors in the world though and has some great facilities which would bring people here regardless of the system but in general what I have seen of the Canadian system was much much better unless it went into the tank over the past 10 years or unless Montreal is an excption.
