Sony is looking at remastering PS3 titles the same way Disney remasters movies

Yeah but that game wont ever release so...

My theory is The Last Guardian is  not being made for the  PS4  , they have decided to make it for the PS2 and then have two remastered versions for PS3/PS4  ,that way they are catering to their present new and older audience .

While this is bordering on near genius it would have been real genius  If they had made it for the PS1 , yes I understand the benefits of using the sotc engine,  but if they went PS1 they could have put it on not just 3 consoles but all of their platforms and even gone dare I say it 4K.
