Yes, Germany is by far the most consistently good team in the world. But consistency doesn't win trophies. Look at Brazil. 7 Finals, 5 won. Germany 8 Finals, 4 won.
Trophies are usually only for teams that have a sudden boost of luck.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
