My thoughts exactly, the entire video and piece are written basically under the assumption that anyone who just came to the US, and can't speak much English, must clearly be illegal.

thats because one of the basic requirments to become a US citizen is you need to be able to read, write, and speak english.  these people coming off that bus do not speak english in the slightest and would not pass one of the most early test to becoje a citizen therefore we can deduct that they are not here legally
