So the other day I got banned for 2 or 3 days; nothing serious, just the inevitable result of some heated namecalling in an escalating debate over some stupid non-issue. Montana was the one who enforced the ban (and for the record, I agree with it).
So I get back today, and on my wall I see a comment that says "Fuck you Montana-your the troll".
Okay, I think. For some reason somebody thought I was banned unjustly. They were kind of extreme and crass about it, but that's kind of nice. I clicked to their profile
zoejarden was permabanned after 1 post; so I figured it might have been a Weezy alt or something, just randomly flaming mods for anybody who got banned. I clicked to see his posting history.
His comment (in this thread) was this:
montana FUCKING BANNED ME (blad). WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!! NAME CALLER??? Fuck you Montana
....Obviously from the 'blad' (I added the bold) they were trying to make it seem like I had created a subaccount to rage against Montana. I'm assuming 'blad' was a hasty misspelling of 'blayd' in abbreviation of Blaydcor.
I honestly am completely nonplussed about this. I don't think I have any enemies on the site, and I can't think of why somebody would go through the trouble to attemp this kind of thing. If any of you are the ones who did this, PM me so we can work it out in a more mature way than attempted backstabbing.
Also, has anything like this ever happened to any of you?
