You know, it's funny that you pretend to know exactly how much Watch Dogs and Titanfall sold on the PC, even though official numbers were never released for either, since digital game sales are almost never made public.

From gamespot.

PlayStation 4 36%

So, the worst version of the game in terms of optimization still managed to sell almost the same amount as the 360, PS3, and One? Sounds like a win to me.

I bet you would see it that way. But now lets take the OP in account. It clearly stated that there are by far more gaming pcs that current gen consoles. So how does such a huge market that keeps increasing come in last? And the worst thing is that the gen just began and the ps4 and x1 will increase in install base wich will increase sales of software, while we can asume that most gaming pcs are already stronger than ps4 then the install base might not grow that much cuz people existing users just upgrade constanly so thas why sales of hardware will keep growing but software might stay the same.

Because most people who own gaming PCs wanted nothing to do with the mess Watch Dogs was on the platform.
