the "merging" of the two units happened last quarter but they didn't already integrate the cost earlier in the year ??? I thought the transaction was effective earlier in the cycle.. it'll be funny to see how much profit they still have with an expense of 7bn
and people have to stop worrying for the employee ( I know it kind of sucks) but like someone said with those kind of cut offs not only a lot of people will voluntary leave the company but MS is not cutting them today without notice and I'm pretty sure when you have worked for MS corporation or even Nokia and it's flashing with all kind of bells and jiggles on your resume it ain't that hard to find a new job without talking about the crazy good professional network you must have...
