I agree and I personally thought MS should have gone with the streaming-only option but I understand how they wanted to make a combination of the two. It was also to heavily focused on DRM, but I guess that comes with the territory.

I am positive about the steps Sony are taking now btw, I think they should start releasing PS4 games only on PS Now within a couple of years, and reduce those prices at the same time.

To release PS4 games, their servers will have to be massively upgraded. I don't think they could really afford to invest any more into it at least until PS5 is out to backwards play ps1,2,3,4. Hopefully better worldwide internet by then so almost nil latency.
