Well, COD is on a decline and has been for several titles now. Many people have left for Battlefield and are maybe hoping Destiny fills that void. However, if you sell 25 million copies and you've significantly declined, selling 10 million copies is still a massive hit. COD isn't going away anytime soon, but the decline is real and it's never coming back. I do feel once August hits, they'll do a big MP reveal like they always do and it could really excite people that have grown stale of the series. Regardless, I think Destiny could make or break COD's success. If you're 2 months into Destiny and loving the game, you're going to be far less motivated to stop playing in favor of the new COD.
