I'm agreeing with you on that. But more because COD: AW will probably end up with less sales than Ghosts. Last gen hardware won't make that difference, sales will drop hard there. PS4 and X1 is where the big boys will play now and what will decide the fight.
However, I can see COD being more frontloaded and taking the lead and Destiny catching its numbers as the install base grows in the next 2 years (I'm considering a new Destiny in 2 years. If they launch a new one in 2015 then I see COD winning the 2014 round). Anyway, this is a sales battle that Activision will watch smiling. The COD killer will exist someday, so it's smart to do it yourself and keep the money.
