Actually Tecmo Koei is still the sole owner of the franchise its just Nintendo co-owns the rights to Fatal Frame 4, Spirit Camera, and all the future entries in the series.

If Nintendo co-owns "the rights to Fatal Frame 4, Spirit Camera, and all the future entries in the series" it means that Tecmo isn't a SOLE owner anymore, no?
