I recommend Wolfenstein for an excellent solo experience (must have if you like retro shooters at all)
I would give BF4 a whirl on the PS4 if you want good multiplayer- its a completely different game than the PS3 version (I had the PS3 version and upgraded to PS4)
NFS: Rivals is a very good game if you need a racing fix.
If you can find Killzone for like 30 bucks used that would be worth it-

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
