"a bigger gain" interesting use of a phrase where Sony financial are concerned.

Sony and MS are not similar in any way shape or form from a business and economic perspective.  One is high revenue, low margin (negative margin often) and struggling to make a dime.  The other is high revenue, high margin and making huge profits month in, month out.

Both companies no longer have to pay XXXX employees. So it is indeed " a big gain" ( royaly sucks for those who lost thier jobs)

FYI i put in Sony as an example because this is a gaming site and they also trim down, but i could have used any other company and would amount to the same for me.
