It's the opposite.  Perhaps you should read the full article I just posted.  Just acquired 30,000 Nokia staff, you can bet the vast bulk of losses are there.

The more I listen to Nedella, the more I am impressed.

 

^^^ this, it would be far more concerning if after such a massive purchase that such a shuffle and thinning did not occur as there will be many areas of overlap with people doing the same job in the same region. It is sad for those that will lose their jobs but a sign of well run enterprise is that it keep on top of costs and efficiency regardless of how profitable they already are, in the end they are a business and you don't just keep redundant staff on the books to be nice.
