Because I fail to see the irony in a compariosn between a company cutting jobs to try and somehow get profitable and also because it is leaving core markets...

against another company cutting jobs to become more efficient within a new business it has just acquired, more lean in existing businesses and all to help it continue in its core markets and maintain that $6bn in profits it makes every quarter.

Its the same thing, Both companies cutting the fat in order to make a bigger gain. MS is like Sony and Sony is like MS.
