Technology and better use of resources can increase the number of people that can survive on the Earth and beyond etc. I don't think living longer would necessarily be "against God" exactly. Would life become ultimately boring for people that lived too long though? Would we lose something if we felt we could never die? I don't know.

You can still die... What we would lose is lying attached to a respirator in a hospital with your family having to decide when to withdraw care.
