Clear case why Messi won..

Messi is 11th according to this and James Rodriguez, the guy everyone is saying deserves it, is 15th. Messi is first place according to WhoScored the statistics site. I agree that he's not the most deserving, but there isn't one player who's a clear winner .If Messi was not Messi and instead a young less known player people would have been immensly impressed by his performance, but he's Messi and this was not the best tournament for him that's why people strongly object to him winning.
