The gameplay is fine. They just really need to overhaul the lore/storytelling aspects.

The lore is good, it just isn't being told in the most competent manor.  I have been saying for years that all they need to do is hire a proper writer and director.  It looks like they did for their new IP!

Tis what I meant. It has so much potential as a space faring sci-fi IP if it was just told right, with more interesting characters. More novels in the extended universe wouldn't hurt (only has KZ: Ascendancy at the moment)
