It's very close between the 90s and 2000s.

Not including the addition of the original Rondo and SotN in the DXC remake which has some tweaked aspects of the original and is a much better game imo,, and the Classic NES series Castlevania on GBA, the 2000s has Castlevania Chronicles, Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, Lament of Innocence, and Dracula X Chronicles that are good.

The 80s really only has CV1, 2, and 3. Three good games, but three games.

The 90s includes SCV4, Bloodlines, Belmont's Revenge, Rondo of Blood, Dracula X, Symphony of the Night, CV64, and Legacy of Darkness.

The current decade includes Lords of Shadow games as the only three good games. All are good, but like the 80s, there's only three. The current decade includes Harmony of Despair, the final nail in the coffin and the reason Lords of Shadow was allowed to be made into a Castlevania title to begin with. Harmony of Despair and all the games after Portrait of Ruin in the 2000s are garbage and are what started the series demise.

So it's a tough choice between the 2000s and the 90s. DXC is better than Rondo, SotN is better than DoS, SCV4, Bloodlines, and AoS are all great, the rest of the games good, but all the games except Chronicles in the 2000s are longer games with more content than the traditional CV.

I vote it's a tie between the 90s and 2000s..

There are no Ties in The Rating Gae. lol, But you broke it down nicely. Castlevania is still one of my favorite series, and those ps2 games were also well done in my book.
