Yeah, Sony screwed up big time with PR in Japan. Releasing the console 4 months late in their own home-country? Not to mention that Sony's first-party exlcusives shifted towards the western audience after gen 6.

It's a shame too because Japanese games, imo, are much better. When you play a game like Gears of War and then load up Xenoblade and that opening screen and music start playing, you quickly realize just how much more love and passion are put into games over there. They still treat it as an art form.
