Clearly you missed where I said "who have a PS3 and the game", as in a WORKING PS3. Obviously if you don't have any way to play your PS3 version, then it makes sense. I'd probably do the same.

Wind Waker HD is a whole different story. For one, it didn't come out a year later, it came out 10 years later., a more proper amount of time for a remake/remaster. Two, graphics have a much bigger update than Last of Us will be getting on PS4. And finally, there's actually a host of gameplay improvements and additions that make it a more worthwhile upgrade. Don't try to think that WW HD and TLOU Remaster are comparable remasters.

I have Wind Waker HD, and the graphical improvements are small at best. The big graphical difference is that now, on a 1080p TV, the game isn't a blurry jaggies filled mess. Other than that, The characters still have the same rough edges they had in the original. They didn't try to make anything rounder. They applied a bloom filter and improved the draw distance, but the landscape has the exact same geometry as the original. If you had played the game on Dolphin, in 1080p, you would see and understand that. That doesn't make it any less of a great game.

And Wind Waker and The Last of Us are comparable. They're both great games that have been/are being remastered. Thank you very much.
