The problem with that, the Wii is unsupported. Unless they (Nintendo) do a limited run of the game (which they wont), the price of Xenoblade will never go down. The supply is just not there, so the demand will increase the price dramatically.

They likely aren't allowed to produce more units, and likely wont with the sequal coming

Why is that likely? Who would have an interest to forbid them to supply the demand? Monolith Soft? They would get their cut of the additional sales!

And it has not even to be a retail version. Why not offer the game in the eShop, downloadable to Wii and Wii U consoles?

Instead of highlighting one point of the statement by bolding it (that's rude imo) just remove the rest of the comment.

Monolith Soft would have final say in whether they could reprint it. Nintendo only distributed and published it. The set agreement would have been for X retail copies. This would require a new agreement.

They won't bring it to Wii U eShop any time soon for one reason, it diverts resources from the sequal that is coming.
