Funny. Comparing hardware revenue generated in PCs to consoles? Do you realize how flawed that is?
Compare a platforms hardware revenue that can sell a GPU that in of itself costs more than consoles, and that is just one of many components to a platform that basically just sells you a box and maybe an extra controlller and nothing else? Do you realize that just ONE PC gamer could spend up to $2000 on GPUs, CPU, SSD or "computers, upgrades and peripherals" as the article you linked to clearly states wheras that same amount of money is revenue generated from selling FIVE PS4s to FIVE different people???? You don't see the problem with that?
I am not saying PC gaming isn't growing, but its nothing like what most PC gamers like to make it sound. Just look at software sales. Look at watch dogs, compare sales of that game on consoles to PCs. Then look at GTA5, do you think if that game was released simultaneously on consoles and PCs PCs would have sold even up to half of the console sales?
