Wow, you really got some hopes and dreams there...

Losing in quarter finals every single time means you're no better than that. When the premiership finally puts a ban on non-native players, then, only just then, England might grow to become one of the best tournament teams around. Untill then, keep enjoying the imported working class heroes on tournaments, playing for any team but the English.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see them top for once, but the amount of foreigners in your competition is holding English talent back, way back.

At least your clubteams are the most supported in the world.

Firstly that's not possible as it is illegal based on EU law, would probably get shot down by the Court of Human Rights as well so...

Secondly foreign players in the premier league isn't what makes England crap. They are crap mostly because they have inadequate coaching at youth level. English players being so overhyped doesn't help either, it makes them so much more expensive than buying foreign players so they are a much greater risk to buy, this could be reduced by forcing all contracts to have a min release fee like they do in Spain.

Thirdly English players only playing in the premier league also contributes to making the England team poor. If more players were to go abroard and play in the French, German, Spanish, Italian leagues they would be better players. Look at all the top countries, they have players that have went abroard and both those players and the national team have benefited from it.

Tell me something i don't know. Just stating why the English team just hasn't become as good as they should have. You say it's bad training... and why is that so? Maybe because clubs tend to buy themself good players abroad instead of training them themselves? Premiership is ruined by it's own succes.

Now let's take Feyenoord and Holland for example. Feyenoord, most bankrupt, had to use all of their own youth players for years and see what happened...? Just from the top of my head there are like 7 players from the Dutch squad who came from/are playing for Feyenoord (rotterdam).
