Funny how I talked about 2007/2008 and you almost only consider 2007. Now I remember that it was more about 2008, when the PS3 was at the same 400€ PS4 is now. Aside from the launching period, it is clear in your graphic that PS4 does about 3 bars (150k) and then it declines to 2 bars (100k) while in 2008 PS3 does about 3 bars (150k) most of the time.

And funny how you entirely forget about the Wii, which did far better than both PS3 and PS4 along the months of the first 2 years disregarding the launch period (which I have to ignore since this thread the about a video talking about the PS4 sales today).

So I guess I was right when I said the weekly 100k PS4 is doing now is bad, since it's even worse than what PS3 did back in 2008 and far worse than Wii. And, regardless of my initial lack of precision (when I said 2007 or 2008) since I was recalling past memories without checking any chart, there's no way you can tell PS4 is doing good right now as the video says. Sundin13 and I were right.

No, you weren't right. At all. Of course the numbers look bad if you compare it to PS3's 2008 sales; at that point the PS3 had an established library which included.the newly-released MGS4, an exclusive, must-have, system-selling title. You NEED to be comparing it to summer 2007, which directly correlates to now, the PS4's first summer. If you do THAT, like you should be, you'll see the PS4 is selling much, much better than the PS3 during the same time period. To say nothing of the fact the PS4 has now more than doubled the PS4's sales during the same time period. I GUARANTEE the PS4's sales will look even stronger next summer with the plethora of titles releasing Sept through next spring. Even the X1 is gonna pick up. It ain't pulling PS4 numbers, but it's STILL outselling PS3 during its first summer. You want doom and gloom? Look at PS3's first year sales, especially in the summer. It still went on to do just fine.

Honest to God. I don't get the annual summer doomsday posts. Really, I don't.
