My neighbor buyed a DS Lite when she was 12.

She started with Nintendogs and/or Animal Crossing. After a short while she stopped playing Nintendogs because it's annoying/boring, but she likes the concept of the game.

OK, she is still playing Animal Crossing and she won't stop playing it. It's more fun to play it with someone. Maybe you should try to have an own copy and play with her (when you have a DS and some patience...)

After a while she buyed Kirby: Mouse Attack. It was too short and too easy, but she really enjoyed the game. (She had 100% after few hours playing.... wow)

Well, I borrowed her New Super Mario Bros (she finished the next day), Elite Beat Agents (she really loves the game), WarioWare:Touched (she likes Ashley and for some weird reason she played her mini games for about 100 times), FinalFantasy: Tactics Advance (GBA) (she played through it four times) and Harvest Moon GBA (also loves it, but it's getting boring after a while).

Well, I think you should buy her AnimalCrossing and/or Nintendogs. She can learn how to handle a console and maybe she likes it and she can play some more advanced games (no casual games, more real games like Zelda and something like that). Btw help her if she has a problem with something.

Well, my neighbor is playing Zelda: Windwaker now. She nearly finished it and this without my help. Sometimes she is playing Brawl with me. :D
