So PS4+XBO is doing barely better per week than PS3+360 was doing in equivalent times, and this is despite the higher current install base (PS3 was at 3.8 million, 360 at 3.6 million). So I'm not sure where the assertion that software is doing well comes from. Next time, before you call me ridiculous, you could actually check the facts, rather than just how you're feeling about things. The fact that you feel as though the industry is doing well right now doesn't count as a fact in this regard. |
Great analysis... but I have to disagree with the point you are ultimately trying to make. I don't know why you are grouping combines sales of both consoles. Especially when this thread is specifically about PS4. If you wanna look at a LTD for PS4 compared to that of PS3 over the same time period, PS3 was around 3.8 million sold and the PS4 is current at around 8.2M sold. I don't know how you can look at that and in any way or sense of the word call that barely selling better than its predecessor.
